The Active Melioidosis Detect™ point of care diagnostic test, for the detection of Burkholderia pseudomallei (the causative agent of melioidosis) is a sensitive rapid immunochromatographic strip assay for the qualitative detection of capsular polysaccharide produced by B.pseudomallei and B.mallei.
